  • Hardwood Floor Question

Our hardwood floors has waves in two spots: by the front door and to the left of the dishwasher. We have had no leaking in those areas that I know of. Is this normal? Being in those two spots, it makes me think the waves are related to temperature fluctuations.

Is this something I just accept or should it be repaired? The wood otherwise seems normal, there is just a wave in it.

    Re: Hardwood Floor Question

Are they new floors? New house? temperature fluctuations sound like a probable cause. House settling? My house is so old that the floors have all kinds of wierdnesses. (we call it character)

      Re: Hardwood Floor Question

Yes, they are new floors. Okay, I'll chalk it up to character. I'm fine with that. I just didn't know if there is something wrong. Thanks.
