Remember my question about the navy blue bookcase? Well I researched the heck out of it and couldn't get my brain OFF the Land of Nod blue low rider bookcase:

So DS now had it in his room and it's PERFECT. I'll post pictures here eventually.

Second, I fell in LOVE with these:

so DS#2 will have a room with these as decorations. I'm embarassed about the price but of course that didn't stop me!!!
The baby room will be a taupe brown color with white trim and two wide stripes at the top of the room (each being about a foot and a half wide) one in a blue and one in a green. The window cover is a navy roman black out shade DS has and I'm really happy with it. The furniture we have is white and the glider rocker we have is white with mossy green cushions. I'm getting an estimate on the paint today from the company who did our whole house when we built and likes to do under the table small jobs from time to time.

    That's all for now!

Flynn, those are adorable. DH and I say often that the next child will have much better clothes, decorations, etc. then this one has. You deserve it!

      Thanks Suzy!

It's funny what DH and I each get pleasure from being "done" with training and having a different budget than before.

I LOVE making this house functional #1, but really CUTE in the kids rooms and elegant everywhere else #2. This is my castle so to speak. I spend a lot of time here and I really gain pleasure from sitting in rooms I created (with some help) to just "be." I'm surprised as I write this how much my environment gives me pleasure.

I might need some help with paint colors and expect to get some fantastic IMSN input in the near future!

Those decals are really cute! Looking forward to seeing the pictures of the new little guy's room!

Those decals are cute and I like how the PB stylist used them. Nurseries are lots of fun to decorate!
