how to clean a marble tile shower?

We just got our internet up after our move to Albuquerque three weeks ago! (I was getting the shakes from withdrawal. )

We're renting a big, nice house for cheap from another doctor's family. It's a little intimidating - although great b/c DH & I want to build something like this someday, so it's good to live in one first.

Most of the house seems indestructible, but the marble tile in the master bath makes me nervous. All the usual shower cleaners say "not for use on natural marble," so what ARE you supposed to use? In Kansas, mildew & lime deposits were a huge problem, but maybe out here it's not necessary to have strong cleaning agents??

Mild cleaners will be fine- I know that Method makes a granite/marble cleaner that works pretty well. (Method stuff can be found at Target among other places)

Ditto the method suggestion. The bottle/product might not say but there is a FAQ section on their website. I *think* you can use the Method daily shower cleaner on marble (but please check!).

Nothing acidic is a good rule of thumb. Maybe ask the owners what they prefer you to use?

Marble *is* lime, so anything that dissolves lime...no go.

I think I'd be making sure to squeegee after showers, for starters. And a ready-made marble cleaner sounds like a good bet.
