I'm just now finishing the office in Terrapin Green (Benjamin Moore) but my wood trim is a lot more orange/yellow than I remember yours being. I did the ceiling and the pocket doors in White Linen. I was going to strip and stain the pocket doors to match the rest of the trim but decided it was way too much work for doors that are usually not closed.

I'm doing the touch up painting today and then it's on the the hallway! (Fernwood Green)

I like those colors, Jenn! I think our master bedroom is close to the terrapin green, maybe even the avocado (I used an aura color in regular BM paint). I can't wait to see the after photos.

I think that the master bedroom is Chestertown Buff (but maybe with a wash on it). The stairway and entry are nice warm reds and I want to say that is Merlot Red but again not sure. This house was featured in an Inspired House article and I have that issue on loan to a friend. Wait! I found it! The living room is pale avocado (a color strip over from Jenn's) which I ended up not liking in my house but there are some other colors in that general section of swatches that are nice. The guest bedroom is california lilac and the kitchen is yarmouth blue. I love the Yarmouth Blue and want to paint my dining room that color....I think....

I was going to paint one of the kids rooms the California Lilac but ended up doing something different. The paint in her house has been a good source of inspiration and starting point for me.

The contractors are starting on the guest room tomorrow and we get to have it repainted - yay! Its one of those rooms I never really did anything to when we moved in and probably wouldn't have if this hadn't happened. It was a light olive green color, it looked fine but I've picked out the Buxton Blue for the new color - I'll post pictures after its done. We almost went with the Yarmouth Blue.

Green are funny- there are the yellow-greens and then there are the blue-greens and going the wrong direction can look BAD. I had to stick with the yellow-greens because of the basic yellow/orange of ALL of the wood (including the floors) of this house. (Besides, I'm from Maryland- GO TERPS. FEAR THE TURTLE!!)

I have one two foot strip about a half inch wide left to do but it requires moving the big ladder so I will wait for my sous painter to come home. (he had to go get an immunization for Honduras).

and for those of you who have been here, I have painted over all of the splotches with primer. So sad to see the 15 different color swatches go away...

So here is the newly painted guest room. We went with the BM Buxton Blue. It looks great IMO! I'm thinking about painting an accent wall in our master bedroom in this color b/c there is so much left!

I'm thinking about painting an accent wall in our master bedroom in this color b/c there is so much left!

And part of that is b/c of how awesome Benjamin Moore paints are - they cover so well!!! I used 3/4 of a gallon for my kitchen, compared to literally holding the can upside down and pulling paint off the sides when we used Sherwin Williams. And I didn't have enough to paint the area behind the fridge (w/the SW).

Yeh, I'm ticked that the paint shop told me I'd need two gallons. We haven't even finished the 1st.

I made the same mistake w/the kitchen this time. I bought 2 gallons b/c of my experience of just running short the last time, and b/c this color was so different than the last. I figured I'd have a lot of the 2nd gallon left ... but I've never even opened it!
