i have been trying to put some things together for almost two weeks now. my machine is giving me problems, and keeps giving me the error "dont move one more inch" sound.

so...i was trying to trouble shoot over the phone with my mom this morning...she is a pro at sewing. she told me to use her machine. her machine is major $$$$$ and i'm afraid of it . she left it here last fall. so, i got it out...and the bobbin keeps snagging, knotting up, and pissing me off!!!

i have a call out to her...i hope she calls me back. i'm getting really.really.really. frustrated.

Sorry that is so frustrating. Whenever I mess up on mine, I usually use enough profanities that DH will come lecture me and then help me.

I just got the parks and rec catalog and they have an evening sewing class. I think I am going to do it. I have taught myself and can barely do more than sew a straight line. I am excited to learn more.

        Sorry for the frustration, Sylvia!

Sewing is one of those things that I would love to be able to do. I have a Singer , and I can just barely sew a straight line. This is one of things that I tell myself I'll work on "some day" when I have more time.

            Re: sewing machine

I love sewing but any machine can get frustrating at times. I need to get back into it. I think starting next year I'll at least try to make Adele's Halloween costumes.

            Glad you got it working!
