Can anyone recommend a stain remover and/or laundry detergent that actually gets food stains out of clothes? DS has only just started playing with solid foods but the stains are impressive!

    TIA

Ecover stain treatment makes a dent, but I think prevention is key. I am laying in a stock of bibs for NextBaby, and training myself to use them, LOL!

I've used Zout with a good amount of success. It got (fresh) cherry stains out of Jacob's dress shirt.

I also don't have a recommendation though I've heard good things about anything with OxyClean in it.

However, I do have a bib recommendation. Adele wears these, DH calls them her raincoats but they save me TONS of laundry.

Not to hijack but does anyone know if stain removers, like Zout, can be used in Front Loaders? I know I have to use "special" detergent but the stain removers don't seem to be marked "he".

I have a front loader and use it w/o problem. You don't HAVE to use "he" soap in front loaders, you can use regular soap but a smaller amount. The idea is that you don't need as much soap, so the "he" is basically reduced / less "filler" (for lack of a better word).

              Thanks for the recs.
Those bibs look good, I like the fact they have sleeves. The little ones we have are hopeless, he still gets stuff under and around it and especially up his arms!
