Does anyone have a source for tasteful disposable plates, glasses and cups? At the moment cost isn't an issue. I need options!

We're throwing a holiday party and the idea of loading the dishwasher with wine glasses/appetizer plates during the party is less than ideal. It's likely we'll have 50 people here at the same time so it's not a huge party -- but large enough so that I'd like to think through this. The house will be decked out in greens and reds with lots of red berry decorations and white candles. Buying the same old plastic cups at Target doesn't seem right.

    Thanks in advance.

Have you considered renting dishes? You don't have to wash them and they are't paper either.

We've rented. Works great. (We did have to wash them, though. Maybe the rules differ from place to place?) Another non-disposable option would be to get buffet-ware quality glasses and such to have on hand for parties. We bought over 100 wine glasses and I think they were around 70 cents a glass. I wish I could remember where. During the party, place a large cooler on the deck or porch and place dirty stuff in it as the party progresses. Sometimes I fill it with soapy water, but usually I just use it as dirty dish storage out of site. I also use basement counter area to stack dirty dishes during a party and clear up later.
