We're proceeding with the purchase - the seller is supposed to remediate.
    What a hassle.
When we did testing for this we were told the levels can fluctuate a lot during the year and even within the house and should be done more than once in various parts. Ours luckily came low.

My mom had levels of radon in her house that needed to be treated, also found at the inspection. The seller installed the venting stuff and it has been no problem since.

Oh, no question I'd much much prefer getting a high number while we do the test, so we can take care of it, than get a fluke low number and have all my kids getting lung cancer later in life.
        But it's still a hassle.
