  • Leather restoration

I have a leather couch that is beginning to show wear on the seats and arm rests. It’s in fairly good shape otherwise and we’re too cheap to replace it. From what I’ve found online it looks like DIY refinishing/recoloring is a possibility and wouldn’t be too difficult. However, I’m concerned about color matching.

What do you think, is this better left to the pros? Has anyone had luck restoring leather?

No advise. Same question here but pertaining to a leather jacket that is getting worn around the edges.

I think furniture refinishing is usually best left to the pros. At least that's been my experience.
