    Does anyone know of any shower cleaner that fights soap scum.... I have Arm and Hammers Daily Shower Spray, it just doesn't seem to work like I want. Has anyone tried those Automatic Sprays?

    I have one of those automatic spray thingies. And my verdict is...eh. I haven't bothered getting a refill now that we've run out. Spots get missed and even the ones it hit, it doesn't leave it gleaming clean like if you had scrubbed it. At best, it delays you having to scrub it by a few days, maybe a week at most.

      I'm not crazy about the automatic spray either, for now it's hanging in the guest bath that doesn't see too much action. For the main shower, some 409 and elbow grease seem to do the trick.

        I use Chlorox, the powder stuff. I'm sure it's terrible for me, but I always use gloves, and I wet the shower down before I use it, so it doesn't fly around the room as much. It gets the shower really clean, though!

          For the tub that small dirty boy sit in (that turn brown after each bath) I use the Method granulated marble powder or the Bartender's Friend powder- I don't like using bleach where his cute little butt sits.

          for the walk-in shower, I use Method Daily Shower Spray. It works well, provided that you train everyone around you to use it after THEY shower, too.

            Thanks guys for all the tips. I have heard the automatic spray thing wasn't worth a flip. I just hate hate cleaning the shower/tub. I would rather clean anything else. Has anyone tried any of the greenworks stuff? I wonder how well it works?

              I also use the Method Daily Shower Spray. It's easy, it works, and I don't have to clean the shower as often.

              I've used greenworks in my classroom. It works well to get paint off tables, that's all I know.

                Tubs = comet
                Showers = Method Daily Shower Spray (I'm a big fan)

                My parents and sibs have one of the automated ones, and it's just not good.
