Laundry issues... HELP!!!

My DF is very specific about using HOT water and BLEACH for all his whites. He does this b/c he's a germaphobe with OCD. Whenever I do his laundry for him, I make sure to tell him that I did use hot water and bleach, otherwise he'll just do it over again. Sigh - what can you do???

DH is like this too, he also is convinced that I don't use starch when ironing, so we are just going to let him believe this for along as needed. I buy starch when he is not with me. I know it is crazy but it keeps the peace. LOL

Really? How funny! DF and I went to WalMart the other day because I needed laundry stuff. He complained when I bought starch, even though I don't use it when I iron his clothes (yes, I iron my fiance's clothes, but only because he rarely has anything to iron and I stole the awesome Rowenta iron his mom bought him...)

Try Borax instead of bleach (at least occasionally) Works pretty well--it's sold under the "20 Mule Team" brand in the laundry section of Wally World
