  • Flower Bulbs

So I was going to plant some bulbs. But I really have no experience with it. I can buy like 100 bulbs at Sams Club for like 14 bucks, so I figure it was worth a try. Here are the ones I am trying to decide from. They will be in full-partial sun, flower beds. We are in the STL area so summers are pretty hot but the threat of frost is nearly gone. Any helps would be great!!

    Freesia

Does hardy gladiolus mean you don't have to dig them up? That would be great. The only ones I have planted needed to be dug up in the fall and replanted in the spring. You can plant some every week for awhile this year, so you can extend the time that you have them blooming.

The other two, I don't know about.

I thought freesia was one you plant in the fall. It smells so wonderful though.

Well I am not sure about the ones you plant in the fall, they are selling them now so I just assumed you planted them now.

I just wanted to say thanks for the wonderful bulbs. I ordered Crown Imperials last summer for my mother-in-law, and just saw them a few days ago....beautiful! I've ordered bulbs from other place.
