So our new (old) house has these sky-high gutters with an extreme pitch on the roof, and besides not owning a 32-foot ladder, I'm really frightened about climbing one, and wouldn't venture up on such a slanted and high roof. What's worse is that the house has "yankee gutters" which are really shallow from repeated patching, and get clogged All The Time.
So I found this "gutter wand" at Lowes - it telescopes out to about five feet, with a little metal hook at the end, and you can just lean out the window and reach into the gutter! (or climb a ladder and reach up, if it's not near a window).
And for nasty clogs, you can attach a hose and spray out the end, WHILE scooping out with the hook.
LOVE IT!
