I've noticed that my dishwasher has a hard time getting rid of my lipgloss or chapstick marks on glasses. Do you think the problem is with the dishwasher or the dishwashing detergent (Cascade gel)? What am I doing wrong? Am I the only one with this problem? It's really annoying when I grab a glass that I think is clean, especially if I have company. Help!

I'm not sure what the deal is...but I do know that mine has been doing the same thing with avocado. Every time I make guacamole I have to hand wash the dishes. laaaaame-Mommy, FM wife, Disney Planner and Hoosier -
I always wipe off lipstick from the cups and glasses before they go in the D/W- I've never found a dish detergent that can get it off.

Great! Now why didn't I think of that? I assumed the dishwasher could handle it since all the "experts" say you don't need to rinse the dishes. I guess not. Thanks, Jenn.Cristina
