  • Christmas tree

We bought ours over the weekend, and have a bird's nest in it!
It's partially made out of human hair (eugggggggghhhh!)

Bring on the luck, health, and happiness in 2011!

Oh my! DH would love a real tree... I'll add this to my reasons for loving my fake, prelit tree!

Didn't they put it through the shakey-thingy to get everything out of it?? YUCK!

Yeah--they shook it. But I'm thinking nests are made to weather extreme shaking.
It's a lucky tree. It predicts that we are going to have more kids!

I think its kinda cool that there is a nest in it. But, I am so over real trees. I am going back to an artifical one after I get my own place.

            It smells soooo nice though.
There's no way a German will put a fake tree up. They'll kick and scream decorating it, and curse all the needles (dh has vacuumed four times since bringing it indoors).

It seems to go against all German sensibilities to bring a real tree inside the house!
