I saw these and can't figure out how to make them. Mine don't have to look as pretty but if I could get close I would be happy.

To me they look like marshmallows covered in candy coating (colored white chocolate that you buy at Michael's) with colored sugar sprinkles. Fun, but a total pain in the arse to make. I would stick with cookies or petit fours that say "Eat Me".

When I googled the cat tail recipe it was what Kris had said. Kind of a PIA marshmallow on a stick thing. I couldn't figure out how to make it all pretty like the picture. DH also said it was be such a pain to make and not that yummy tasting. The cake pops is an idea I didn't think of. How would I do it? Make a couple batches of cake pops, ice them alternating pink and purple, and put them on the stick like the marshmallows?

Cookies that say Eat Me: check

Butterfly Bread? Or was it Buttered bread? I bought little 1 pound loaf pans (with lids) to make my pumpkin bread as take come gifts to the parents (my friends). This is a October party. I can get way with saying those are the butterfly bread things... right? Slap some butterfly stickers on the lids and be done with it? I was also going to make a couple extras to serve at the party. I love that stuff! BTW I plan to label all the themed foods; Cheshire Cat Tails, Butterfly Bread, Drink Me tags on juice bottles, etc.

Moonlight- I'll write more when I get home, but I have a Alice costume DD wore at 4 years old and a Queen of Hearts costume you can borrow complete with flamingo croquet mallet.

          Bread and Butterflies, BTW.

As a party favor I'm giving all the girls black headbands with a black bow, just like Alice's. You wouldn't believe how hard it's been to find one of those for cheep. I randomly found a black and pink tow pack of headbands at Dollar General for $1. We'll have lots of extra pink headbands around here. haha! Its the small things that make me happy. So far here's the menu:

Finger sandwiches or heart shaped sandwiches (can't decide)
Cheshire Cat tails: It wasn't easy but I figured out how to make those little suckers
Rose shaped white cupcakes with drizzled red icing: paining the roses red.
Cookies that say: Eat Me, Try One etc
Bread and Butterflies: Little 1 pound pumpkin breads, sliced and as take home gifts.
Mushroom Forest, two types: Meringue Mushrooms dipped in bright colored icing. 'Mushrooms' made of halved cheery tomatoes w/ string cheese stumps.
Large Veggie tray. In the middle of the veggies I'll have round breads that will be shaped like Mr. Rabbit. I'll carve out his tummy for spinach dip.
I know it sounds like a lot but I'm only making a little bit of each idea. I'm not feeding 100 kids this go around.

Ordered the cake! It will look like this one but our cake toppers look different. Bought them off Amazon. I think they came from the Disney Store and look better than the Alice on this cake. I'm so excited! I'm nearly done with the boy's Mad Hatter hats! Fun times!

I met this cake lady that lives out in the area and works out of her home over a year ago. So affordable for the quality she provides. Even if nothing else works out at least I know the cake is ordered and I have the room reserved at the coffee shop.
