  • Color Catchers

Has anyone tried the color catchers made by Shout? It's like a dryer sheet that you put in the washer and it "catches" loose dye in the washwater to keep it from depositing on clothes. (I remember my mom once accidentally dying all my dad's underware pink because a red sock got caught up in the wash. Guess that is one way to keep your husband faithful.) Anyway, I don't buy color catchers because they are very expensive but I've liked the free samples I've gotten in the mail. I saw this post today about making your own color catchers. http://www.onegoodthingbyjillee.com/...-catchers.html Has anyone tried it? If you do, let me know how it goes.

I haven't tried it, but I also don't have much problem with dyes bleeding, either.

So many of the baby's clothes have been ruined by this, so I actually started just buying them. And I threw out a dish towel that was a repeat offender.
