  • Gas stove leakage

So since we have moved into our house in April there has been an on and off again smell of has near the gas stove. I called the gas company and they couldn't smell anything or find a leak so told me it was "residual" gas. Well it's still happening and I want it resolved. I have had gas stoves in the past and they have never had this issue. I'm thinking of trying some leak detector fluid. Any other ideas? Suggestions?

Eeck! None other than get a carbon monoxide detector in the meantime!

We had an issue like that when we first moved in, we called our trusted plumber and he found the leak.

Thanks SS. I hadn't thought of a plumber. I'll put my feelers out.
