Where would you shop for affordable, yet nice drapes/curtains for dining room, great room and a master bedroom?

I guess it depends on what you consider affordable... I think there is a wide range in the drapery department! That said, I've had decent luck at Bed, Bath & Beyond and Target. Awhile back, I got some curtains on sale at Pottery Barn, which I really liked because they were great quality. But, usually, I think Pottery Barn's curtains can be pricey.

Overstock has good deals on drapes, too. (Although I like seeing/feeling them in person before I buy.)

I've gotten some really nice ones from JC Penney. Not always, but usually the lined ones are decently made.

PB's drapes are awesome but yeah. If you're looking for staging drapes, look elsewhere.

Staging it is. We have never bought window treatments for the main rooms cuz we were lazy and didnt think we were moving. we have no one behind us. I am looking to disguise it a little by getting drapes.

Then definitely check out TJ Maxx and Ross. You can get good neutral stuff there for cheap

I would also suggest Big Lots or Home Goods.

I must have a crummy TJ Maxx and Home Goods...all I can ever find is one drape of this, and one drape of that.

Good luck! We left our back windows naked at the last house since all there was was forest.
