Did you look at the GE Advantium for micro? I love mine so much, we moved it with us.

I think I would be tempted by the Samsung. I do agree that high end brands really can suck. I hate my Viking appliances.

Yes it is the advantium. These are the three for the oven/advantium/warming drawer though instead of being in a stack they'll be in two under counter stacks, the oven alone and the advantium/drawer next to it.

This is what we have, and I haven't had any problems at all. (And I'm about your height.)

I love having a bottom freezer. Why do you think height would be an issue? Also love my 6 burner stove. Best decision ever. I do however, hate our GE Profile ovens and can't wait for them to die. But they're 13 yrs old, so I'm sure there have been many improvements over the years.

I feel like this whole thread should have #firstworldproblems on it

I'm totally just messing with y'all...and dreaming of the day I, too, can appliance/light fixture shop! No one can say that anyone here didn't earn it - I'm just trying to be funny!

ETA: I've always thought the fridges with the shallow, in between drawers were SWEET. Every time I try to cram a tray of something in our standard fridge/freezer I fantasize...
