I'm embarrassed at mine. Everything goes to hell here once it gets above 95 and it wasn't much to begin with. We probably need to install a sprinkler system next year...maybe then.

    I hate spider mites!

On the plus side, our Italian Cypress trees are no longer lopsided.

I'm embarrassed because I still have over a dozen plants hanging out on my driveway. I just haven't had time to get them in! So my flowers beds are only half done and now it's Sept 1. *sigh*

        Awe. Bummer.

I have no yard at the moment, but I actually even did a shitty job with our balcony this year. I was away so much that my plants didn't do all that great. Plus I brought a few over to a friends before I left town for 3 weeks and came back to really sick looking plants. They are slowly recovering, but certainly not ready for pictures. (Meanwhile I water her whole house and yard full of plants while she is gone... Not sure whether she just forgot about mine or whether they just weren't getting enough light over there).

Heck, I have just neglected beds of dirt and weeds where the boys have been digging up earthworms.

Ours is sorta in mid construction. We have no border as it was concrete and dh dug it out last year but it's taken us this long to decide on a shape and hire a landscaper to shape it and put in stone which will happen in Oct. Right now there is a small ditch between the bed and the grass to try to keep the Bermuda grass out. I planted a bunch of plants in the spring guessing how they would fit. Some stayed smaller and some grew larger than expected. I will be moving them when dormant. So, it's sort of a mess. Maybe I'll post a few pics of individual flowers. They were pretty.
