  • Remodeling light fixture help

Ok gang, 1935 tudor complete remodel we like traditional and we REALLY like these pendants. There will be two above the island and one above the sink.

The problem is that we can't find a corresponding light fixture to go above the table in the breakfast nook. The table is a rectangle that seats six ...

I like this one but would like to have that has shades/covers/glass over the bulbs...

Any ideas of light sites I may not have thought of? I feel like I have looked everywhere...

    Love their stuff

Actually Amazon too. My mom just got quite a few of the fixtures from their new house from there

    Any of these?

Try http://rejuvenation.com too. They do a lot of period things.

If it were me I would have recessed lighting installed in the breakfast nook. Since you have such beautiful pendants over the island I would let those lights be the focus.

Maybe recessed lighting and a pendant or small chandelier?

Have you checked out Schoolhouse Electric? They have lots of period pieces, too.

Go to a local light store and pick up their catalogs for Kitchler and others. I found a greater selection and if I ordered thru the store there was no shipping cost and it was cheaper than online. I love my Kitchler fixture.

Savoy was a company our lighting place used. I got a lot of ideas off of Houzz.com

Ok, thanks for the all of the suggestions we've looked, looked again and looked some more and I don't feel like we're any closer. SIGH!

DH likes these: (We've seen them in person, the gold is much less gold and the black is much less shiny) 3 would go above the 7' island and 1 above the sink/window
                        http://www.restorationhardware.com/c...egoryId=search

We think we want this for the breakfast nook table: (But it only comes in a bronze, I'm afraid its going to be to brown...)
                        http://www.restorationhardware.com/c...Id=prod2700398

I still like these: (In the clear, antique bronze finish)
                        http://www.lumens.com/clark-pendant-...-uu237311.html

DH is afraid they will "get lost" because there is no color/definition/etc to the globe, I feel the light will reflect off of them and they'll be fine.

We still don't have a breakfast nook fixture to go with them...

                        I am so lost!

Appliances are stainless, door handles/knobs will be these: (in oil rubbed bronze)

I was looking at pics if cousin's house (which is currently for sale), and was thinking you may like this light fixture. I think you could potentially do something like that in the breakfast nook depending on the shape of your table.

Cheri, I like the Clark Pendant too. It has a unique but sleek look.
