  • What do you buy online?

The ups truck stops every 2-3 houses on my block every day, and I always wonder what's in those boxes!

By now, I order most large items online (diapers, wipes, TP, Perrier...), so I don't have to drag the kids AND a huge cart full of basics home. We live on a hill with stairs to climb! I'm willing to spend a few dollars more for that convenience.

What do you order on a regular basis and how often does the ups truck stop in front of your house?

    What do you buy online?

It feels like everyday, but it's probably every 3 days, averaging.

Books for DH, and random items (baby wipes/EMAB products/Mustela, used gear/gently worn clothing from eBay, some kitchen staples, the occasional small piece of furniture/tech device or electronic).

We got our TV new from Amazon for a super amazing price, for example.

Textbooks for both me and DH, and random everyday wants. My last few Amazon orders have been baby things, knitting needles, socks, hardware for the dresser that DH is painting, and a new case for my phone. Basically stuff I don't feel like making a special run to a store for, or haven't easily found in my closest, everyday stores.

These days, basically everything but food. In the past few weeks, off the top of my head, we've gotten kitchen shears, baby shower gifts for two friends, a wubbanub, nursing cover, car seat bag for air travel, reusable nursing pads, baby pjs & pants, teething necklace, diaper pail liner, and some accessories from Charming Charlie.

Mostly from amazon. If I can get it there for same price or less than the store (which is 99% of the time) it's far easier for me to have it delivered.

              All the things. Seriously.

We shop at Costco and the grocery store. Otherwise everything is bought online at retailers who offer free shipping or on Amazon Prime.

We don't have time/desire to shop in stores almost ever. We are both allergic to the mall.

I like getting things locally cause it's faster, but often I can't find what I want and I hate going shop to shop to shop.

What do I mostly get? Clothes for O, books, dvd's, model train stuff, electronics.

We have almost no shopping (outside of farm supply stores), so we shop for pretty much everything online.

Pretty much everything but groceries. The ups truck is here a few times a week.
I can't stand going to brick and mortar stores and not finding what I'm looking for, and online shopping eliminates that. Also, I HATE paying for shipping so I'll usually buy from Amazon or wait until I have a coupon for free shipping before making a purchase.

Diapers, squeeze snacks, anything I can get on amazon that I would normally get at walmart

Almost all of our clothes. Nordstrom is way out in the burbs, so I rarely go. The jcrew here is only women's clothes. I do shop there, Anthro, gap, and lululemon in person. But I order everything else. That said, we don't buy tons of clothes.

I do order all sorts of random things off amazon, but not nearly as much as some people I know.

We also get wine shipped - but usually not directly here - horrible state for that.

I think the ups man comes only once or maybe twice a week for us. But we live in an apartment building. So he is usually here twice a day 😉. Three of my neighbors shop A LOT!!

+1. Maybe this is what I should have said? 😄

I will say that we do strongly support local food (farmers market, CSA) and local shops for the rare things we do buy (notably restaurants and camera stores, mechanics, etc).

I usually buy camera and stereo equipment online with B&H Photo or Amazon. Not a big fan of Best Buy.
