I have liked these from bed bath and beyond. They are the Dri Soft Bath Towel Collection and very reasonably priced. They seem to hold up well with many washes and they don't have threads that pull out, etc. They seem to stay soft and smell good after many washes. (some towels I have start to stink even after I wash them!) Plus lots of colors to choose from, in the store anyway. I'm not sure how the color selection is online!

We have BB&B towels that haven't held up great, but they're pretty soft. I've found that the way I wash them can make a huge difference. I use my cloth diaper detergent (Rockin Green Classic Rock) and Downy Free & Gentle liquid. No dryer sheet. I use the same on my sheets.
