• Places to shop for bedding

The plan is to get a king bed this year...why on earth didn't we start with one?

At any rate, I'm on the lookout for bedding now that autumn seasonal stuff is coming in--I tend to like the "cozy" look. I've checked Pottery Barn, Overstock, and Anthropologie (HA like I could afford their stuff anyway). I'm at a loss of where else to try (besides Bed Bath and Beyond).

Ideas? Favorite websites? I'm okay with the Pottery Barn price range because we will keep it for 5-7 years.

I'm shopping for new bedding too and doing all the rounds. I also shop the websites online for ideas but it doesn't give me an idea what they feel like. I would prefer quality too. I also keep in mind the sales like Black Friday or Macy's One Day Sale for when I can get good quality items for deeply discounted prices.

Someone on Lives of Doctor Wives just got some from H and M and is really happy with it. I do love HomeGoods/TJ Maxx/ Marshalls, and IKEA also though.

For sheets, I've been thrilled with quality of Ikea's Gaspa. Very reasonably priced and they are holding up well.

I just got some nice sheets at Costco for our guest room.
I usually get them at TJMaxx or IKEA though. There is some really nice bedding at IKEA right now.

Kohl's is another option.

Check out pinterest for your color scheme. That's how I found DDs bedding. It was easier than looking at each individual website.

Following this thread because we really need to replace our duvet cover. Why did I get a predominantly white one, again?

Good idea MarissaNicole. I'll
Check Costco for sheets. It's really the duvet or quilt I'm on the hunt for. I want certain colors in a pattern that I like...it could be awhile. I check home goods every time I go but it is so hit or miss.

I have my eye on Lands End and Garnet Hill, but I love my IKEA sheets (and the price!) Mmm, 300 count percale. The made in the USA 1888 Mills that DCJenn recommends also have me intrigued though. That's one thing about a king, sheets are expensive. :/ (FWIW, we use two queen/full duvets instead of a big king size one because someone *cough*hubby*cough* is a sheet stealer.)

What colors are you looking for?

I agree with TJMaxx but definitely you've got to hit it just right. Did you look at Touch of Class? They have a ton of options. Also Overstock sometimes has some good stuff.

Something with red would match the stuff I already have, but I kind of want to do an indigo blue... I keep coming back to this one and getting some other pillows to break it up a bit.

I think we are going to get this headboard or something like http://www.walmart.com/ip/35031680?w...871192&veh=sem

I always do PB, RH and Costco for bedding. But last week there was a today show deal of the day for crane & canopy. There stuff looked pretty nice, and not terribly priced. Was thinking about ordering a back up duvet since mine is getting yucky super fast since having the babies.
