We need to pick out a color for baby C's room! This is his bedding, with a gray crib and curtains in the animal print fabric:

    Colors we're considering:

    and slightly daker: http://www.sherwin-williams.com/home...ngColors&p=PS0

Slightly bluer, although we're worried these might be too "Tiffany blue."

Slightly grayer, although I don't think these will look as nice with the gray crib, and I really want to brighten the room up a bit:

Any thoughts? We've got cards for all of them, and they all look OK next to the fabric samples. We just need to decide. This will also still be a guest room too and will have a full-sized bed in with his crib and dresser.

I thought I saw a tertiary color in the chevron that looked like a bisque or bone.
I'd go with that, if this also functions as a guest room.

The chevron is white, 2 shades of gray, and blue - this link may show them better: http://www.babybedding.com/designer?...a-4e95f3df4066

Honestly with the bedding and crib colors I wouldn't go blue or gray. It's so monochromatic. But if that's what you want I would go a few shades lighter than the bedding blue. There should be noticeable contrast. What about a very very light blue/gray?

I think I like Jetstream, Topsail, and Sleepy Blue the best

Personally, I'm a fan of dramatic yet harmonious contrasts -- warm complements against cool, or vice versa. In the case of this palette of cool blues and grays, I'd be pulling the buttery yellow of the giraffe and playing that up hard, maybe even expanding on it with other orange-yellow and orange shades in the other decor around the room. But if that's too much contrast for you, I'd look for a very warm, very light gray for the walls (I like Topsail of the colors you've linked) -- while still finding ways to incorporate the yellow, maybe in curtain tiebacks or a mobile or quilt or lampshade?

Also, make sure that the overall effect has plenty of value contrast. As a photographer it's super easy for you to take a photo and make it monochrome and see if everything blends, or everything clashes, or if there's nice pops of lighter/darker value.

E's room is yellow, otherwise I'd go with that. I could make his crib sheet yellow though instead. Would that give more contrast? I haven't actually ordered the bedding yet

That's the bit I'm not great at visualizing. So gray crib, chevron-and-animal-print bumpers and skirt, animal print curtains, yellow sheets, gray walls? I could see that! I'd still be casting around for more pops of warm contrast, but I think you'll have a lot to work with.

I can do a yellow cover on the changing pad. And I can do yellow or very light bedding on the guest bed too.

I like that! Have you gotten a swatch of SW Comfort Gray? Maybe try that out too. That plus a few yellow accents would be really cute.

I'm almost finished getting baby C's room set up, I just need to get some new bedding for the guest bed.

Walls will be Open Air: http://www.sherwin-williams.com/home...en-air/#/6491/

                          Bedding looks like this: http://www.babybedding.com/designer?...3-d912e8db330c

                          Curtains are these: http://www.babybedding.com/gray-zoology-drapes

Crib and dresser are gray, and we'll most likely make a gray fabric headboard to go with the bed. I've got decor with yellow and white, in addition to the blue and gray.

So, here are some options for bedding (the bed is up against the wall, by the curtains, next to the dresser):

Going to put better light bulbs in that will help with a more accurate color, but I think it came out nice so far!
