    We had it in our first house and it held up really well. Whether it's a good idea depends on the house it's going in too. We bought that house for just over $200k so it was great to have new floors, regardless of whether it was real wood. I would definitely prefer that over carpet in a hallway.

      FWIW, I asked an interior decorator for flooring advice. I her my kids do stuff like dumping buckets of water on the floor and sliding down the stairs in laundry baskets. Also that I have crazy heavy furniture. She is recommending vynal laminate flooring.
