  • Where the hell is Heloise when you need her?

I've committed the cardinal sin of laundry ... a red blanket with beige sheets in HOT! Dios Mio! These are my favorite sheets!

Who knows the way to fix this problem?? PLEASE.

Let them soak cold water overnight? Works with blood stains.

Then soak it in twice the instructed amount of oxygen bleach in wam water for a few hours.

    Then wash in cold water.

    Might work.

I know that OxyClean soaking is a miracle worker for horrible mud/grass stained white baseball pants.

Wash cold with some of those color absorbing sheets for the washing machine? It has worked for me with some disasters....

edited to add: IF you have already dried them, you might...be screwed. :|

Yeah - they're dried and on the bed right now. 10 days later I might have had some other color / scent issues to deal with . I did soak & use the color absorbing sheets ... it helped a bit, but they're still clearly pink. My neighbor suggested dying them with RIT ... I might just try it b/c they can't get any worse.
