    Forum Suggestion

    Considering Annie's recent troubles with Allied, and my trouble last year with LaSalle Bank - I'm thinking we should have an "Angie's List" type forum. We often do threads of "our faves" - but a BBB of our experiences related to moving, home stuff, etc. might be helpful.

      I'll work on it. Any ideas for a name? (Although I like "Angie's List" .....if I put it up it will appear to be total power mongering. )

          Hmmmmm ....

          It could be: THE List (as in: they'll end up on the the list), "Hard to Find Good Help" as a play on our "Dawkter Spouse" status

            I might add that it should be in the "private" areas ... sounds silly, but otherwise it will end up being a place for losers to post ads, and just give the admins more work.

                  As much as I love "Hoots and Hollars" I think M & M works well - with a tag line explaining the forum's purpose. I also agree that it should be private - although nothing seems to stop spammers from posting. (Probably because they are all bots!) We had a forum section set up for MDFamily and it ended up filled with ads for drugs and porn after weeks of neglect. That'll help your family life!

                        That sounds like a great idea. I know I'm obsessed with reviews and I can't buy a pack of gum without first checking out the reviews.

                        Now it must be late and I'm tired or I can blame the LDR for not knowing this, but what IS an M&M conference?

                          Morbidity and Mortality. It's the conference that discusses what went wrong with recent cases in an attempt to make things run more smoothly next time.
