i just made a dress

for dd...sorta she had a pair of overalls that were too short and worn out. so i cut out the crotch (i hate that word) *inseam* took some scrap corduroy and sewed it into the pant in a triangle shape. they look so cute and now she has a fall/winter dress. it looks really cute with tights. so if anyone has some pants and you need a cheap fix for your kiddos, highly suggested.

sounds cute ... but i don't think it would go over so well here.

she does love it erica, but im noticing that it needs a little alteration...i think i put too much fabric back in the middle.

Maybe cut the side seams as well and add fabric there as well to make it more of a full skirt? Just a thought! Sounds great though...I wish I knew how to sew...maybe I can take lessons!
