    My best guess is that your paint may not be of the highest quality and kind of smeared when you used the magic eraser. It will probably blend in or dull out over time.

    Or I may be entirely wrong.

    Use the eraser to wipe off the residue.

    PS- it did take the 'gloss' off some of my paint in the DChouse.

      The same thing happened to our walls, I don't think it's a film. I think it took a little bit of the paint off b/c after I used the Magic Eraser there was a little bit of the wall color on it.
