  • Applique Fonts?

I am about to attempt an applique project, and was wondering where to get the different fonts and/or cutouts to use as a stencil. Does that make sense?

So if I want to applique a cupcake onto a shirt, where do I get the stencil of the cupcake? Are they free on the net, do I go to Joann's or make my own ( i dont think i am good at that)?

You can use freezer paper to make applique templates. Then if you find a line art image on-line you can transfer that to the freezer paper. If you google freezer paper applique, you will find lots of good sources.

If you plan on making your own cutouts, you can get free fonts on dafont.com--it may be more work that it's worth, though!
