I'm an on/off amateur knitter. Here are my two recent projects! The hat is newborn size, and I'm going to add a pom pom on top. The other is a basketweave baby blanket, about 1/6th or so done.

    What are you working on?

I miss knitting! I have 3 projects in progress, all of which were started before E was born: a lighterweight blanket for E, a blanket for a friend and her baby, and E's Christmas stocking.

Are you on Ravelry? We have a group there, though it's not super active. You should come find us! I have the same username over there.

Aw, I love roll-brim newborn hats! Yours looks cozy.

I'm working on All the Things! Probably nine works in progress right now, and at least 7 of them are at some kind of a sticking point so I can't just grab them and run, I have to concentrate and pick up stitches or put stitches on holders or close toes or measure lengths, etc. I'm hoping to get some of them past the sticking points this afternoon!

Join us on ravelry! The forum is iMSN Knitters, I think (super-creative, I know).

I'm working on a Wash sweater (1/4 done with the second sleeve, then just have to attach the sleeves, and block, and DONE!), and a lizard ridge afghan from a gorgeous blue/purple/black/grey noro silk garden colorway. I'm also going to Vogue Knitting Live in a couple weeks in Chicago, where I plan to learn how to fit sweaters, among other things.
