I don't have any idea, and the boy is clueless. I have minimal contact with her.

Ask another boy's mom. All the guys are clueless, believe me. Their moms tell them what they should do - or the girls tell them. I think he should order one. It's very thoughtful, but if he makes it, she'll probably figure mom helped. Better that it was all his idea and his action.

Girls are on to how clueless guys are about this stuff by high school.

Here, last year it was all wrist corsages.

From what I see it appears to be wrist corsages.

I agree with ordering. I'll ask my friend Nicole. She has an older boy who went to this school and a senior.

The two with the black flowers (https://www.etsy.com/listing/2252474...w_type=gallery or https://www.etsy.com/listing/2252501...w_type=gallery) will be lighter on her wrist and will blend in more with the real thing. The last one (https://www.etsy.com/listing/1689716...earch_type=all) is wowser and no one will have anything like it. It just depends on if she is a bling type of girl, and I can't decide if it will be comfortable.

One review said "very light and comfortable." Ryan said that she likes sparkly things.
