  • I love spin classes!

So I've found my one "me" thing since we moved - spinning. I never got to do it before because the gym we went to (which was really inexpensive), didn't include classes w/the membership. Now just the kids and I have a membership to the YMCA, and I ***heart*** the spin classes! So whenever I'm pissed about a schedule issue, I just tear up that bike harder

I've been doing these classes on and off for the last couple of years. I hope to get started again soon. I love them too. But bike shorts are a must!

I love spinning too. Bike shorts with padding are the best.

I just wear my 5 yr old workout pants - I wish I could get some good stuff but the flattering fabrics cost $$$ and they make me feel self conscious even though I shouldn'ts

It's not a matter of flattering, it is a matter of padding for your....soft tissue.

REI outlet often has bike shorts on sale.

Also, you can get really nice stuff on eBay. My trainer has sold stuff like bike shorts that don't fit her correctly and bike shoes that she didn't like after trying them on the spin bikes, etc.

Definitely get some padding- you can do damage to the girly parts if you aren't careful.
