DH and I have decided that for the next few months my priorities are to take care of myself and my health and of DD (not always in that order ). When I was expecting DD1 I gained a lot of weight (~75 lbs) and I've been struggling ever since to get it off. I'm going to track my progress here.
So far, I've been doing Weight Watchers for 4 weeks (two of which I just journaled and didn't track points). I'm down 3 lbs so far and I weigh in again tomorrow morning.
I've also been exercising pretty regularly for the past 4 weeks. I'm mainly doing exercise videos in the mornings and taking DD1 for a walk in the afternoon. I'm working hard not to go too hard core and burn myself out or injure myself.
Since I have so much to lose, I'm going to track it in 10 lb increments because the grand total is just too much. Plus, we'd like to try for # 3 in the spring (not that that will bring Lilly back or replace her.....that was always our plan even before we found out that she was sick....). Anyway, I have no hopes of losing all 75 lbs before we start trying for # 3 but I'd like to get rid of as much as possible. I'm hoping for 35 - 40. We'll see. My GI doc just upped my predinsone again so I'll have to work extra hard to see any progress at all.
Here's my first tracker:
