    Holy Moly-

I just took my first 'real' Pilates class at the gym. (forcing my husband to take our son to the Princess birthday party! I'm done w/ the effing Princess Birthday party...this is the THIRD Princess birthday party in as many weeks.)

If I can sit up tomorrow without the assistance of someone else, it's going to be a miracle. Damn, it was hard. Fun, interesting, challenging and HARD.

No wonder the movies stars use it to be super fit.

I'm going to the 5:30 am class tomorrow, if I can move.

PS- I once again channeled all of the Irish relatives and strung together the list of saints, religious icons, and the Big Three wrapped up nicely with some F-bombs. all mentally though- didn't offend anyone around me.

Jenn- was it floor work or did you do it on the reformer? I have a reformer with rebounder sitting in my room as I speak but have not used it for fear of pain, lol.

      Re: Pilates

It was the floor work- they have reformers there but you have to make an appointment (aka cough up more cash) to use them.

I didn't make it to the morning class today- Nikolai woke up at 3am and then the damned dog started with her chewing/scratching/chewing routine. Everyone overslept at my house today.

I may go tomorrow evening though.

        Re: Pilates

I love piliates. I hate floor classes though- too hard. Well, I guess hate is too strong of a word. I do like some of the exercises. I should say I prefer the reformer. My dear friend has a studio and until I was too pregnant she taught me on the reformer. It always left me feeling taller and refreshed. I'd like to start again but baby care is a problem- have no one to help at this point.

Have you been back for more classes?

No- I've had a coughing kid keeping me up at night but I'm planning on going back to the same class on Sunday. The M-F classes are at really inconvenient times- 5:30 am or 5:30 pm.

My stomach muscles are still feeling it!
