so, i forgot to mention...i don't think i will talk about my weight loss in front of dh anymore. i was so sad for him last night. he has never struggled with weight. he was always the skinny kid, adult...in our marriage. not gross skinny...just fit. when i first met him, he had just gotten out of active duty. the legs on him...mmm..mmm.mmm. LOL! he maintained while in reserves for the following 4 years. once medical school started...but ESPECIALLY after leaving the caribbean where we couldnt indulge in everything...and HAD to walk everywhere...residency has really packed it on him.

last night, i told him i had lost another pound. while he is happy for me....he was upset with himself. i can totally relate. i would hate it when he would weigh himself in front of me.

i told him i wouldnt talk to him about it anymore...he said he is so proud of me...and knows i'm not doing it to make him feel shitty....

my poor honey. it's all about residency...eating what and when you can..no matter what the food is.
