  • Anyone out there juice?

Anyone out there have a juicer? I got one for christmas, a breville which is the kind you can put whole fruits and veggies in at once. I tried it for the first time tonight....and I am already obsessed.

My first drink was just 2 granny smith apples...it was so fresh tasting

My second drink was a handful of cherries- pitted, a stalk of celery, and half an apple. I put a little sparkling water in this one and it was so very refreshing...did not even taste the celery.

I bought the big book of juices which has hundreds of recipes, but wanted to see if anyone else has gotten into this and if they have favorite recipes to suggest????

I am trying "the apple basic" tomorrow...2 apples, one carrot (I am nervous about the carrot!)

Hmmm - I was with you. Don't know the "other" type of juicing.

I juice every now and then. The main thing is the mess afterwards. I love the juice (Have the book "Juicing for Life") but hate the clean up. I am on my second juicer - I thought if I bought a more expensive one, it would surely be better. My favorite is orange/carrot...sweet and tart at the same time.
Finally - we are finished with training! Hello real world!!

I grew up on fresh orange and carrot juice--was a pita to clean up, though

I used to have one but always ended up with a lot of foamy mess and very little juice. I don't know if I was doing something wrong, but I eventually gave up.

It is a bit of a hassle to clean, but the juice is amazing!!! I am pretty into right now, but I am sure my enthusiasm will wind down.

I love adding club soda...its like a super yummy spritzer!
