  • Am I the only person who sweats??

I am having the hardest time finding HEADBANDS!! I've got 3 from Old Navy (a few seasons back) that I love, but I can't find any more. I've tried Target, Old Navy, Dicks (Sporting Goods), google searches --- I either get these little stringy thingies that might hold back hair but won't catch any sweat, or I get preppy style headbands. I don't want a John McEnroe style sweatband, but a headband w/some material to catch sweat would be nice.

Not sure...I feel like I might have seen some at Walgreens recently. But I could be mistaken. I have a funny-shaped head, so headbands don't stay on my head (true story!)...therefore, I wasn't paying real close attention.
I'm just trying to make it out alive!

Nope, you are not! I totally need the same thing to keep the sweaty hair off my sweaty face and neck. Yuck.

I found a pack of wide cloth headbands with some elasticity so they stayed on my head. I think it was a six pack in various colors. I'm trying to remember what the brand was, I definitely picked them up in a Target or a drug store.

corn poffi's comment made me search the Walgreens website, since that is the drug store I go to. I found this: http://www.walgreens.com/store/c/scu...d17333-product
      And this: http://www.walgreens.com/store/c/scu...908833-product

The first set was definitely the one I bought - the widest thing available in stretch cotton to stay on my head and absorb the sweat. And a bonus: they can be washed.

And I found these on there too, everything is apparently made by Scunci. I don't know about these, just the other ones I posted. The Scunci website sucks. http://www.walgreens.com/store/c/scu...294278-product

What about a bandana? Either folded into a "sweatband" or just folded into a triangle...

That's what I use a lot of the time, plus they don't get lost in the wash as easily as other headbands/sweatbands. Good luck!

Oddly shaped noggin here, too. As much as I'd like wear headbands, they only stay on for a couple minutes before riding up the back of my head.

They don't stay on my head either. I always end up dramatically ripping it off in the middle of yoga. A running store near here has some that look promising, though. I'll let you know.

Have you tried a place that sells a lot of tennis gear?
                Sports Authority maybe?

The sneaker stores in the mall have the Nike terry cloth ones. I know bc I was looking for the wrist ones and ended up only finding them at Hot Topic.

They don't stay on my head either so I usually only use them to wash my face at night.

I recall seeing some once at Big 5 sporting goods. Do you have those in KC?

I just use bandanas. Cheap, easy, washable

Can you believe me head is too big for bandana? I have a massive, massive noggin.
