It was hard last weekend, but I did better than most weekends. I can not eat out when dieting this hard core. I've tried to over the years but it never works. Even when I can find foods that are ok to eat... it seems to be full of salt, and that makes me retain ww.

Come on ladies! Some of ya'll aren't checking it! I need all the support I can get!!

Saturday was rough for me. I completely blew my budget and felt terrible afterwards. My sister hosted a dinner party for my nephew's birthday. She's an AMAZING cook & I never fail to control my eating when I'm at her house. It's also hard for me not to be envious of her ability to indulge while maintaining a super svelte figure.

I came home frustrated & pissed at myself, but fortunately Sunday I got back on the wagon. I'm tired of being the fat girl in my family.

I seem to be back on track. I'm doing c25k every day plus an additional hour of walking. It's hard to rejoice in the weight loss because these are pounds I've lost before. I need to get down *gulp* 20 to be back on track. I'm having trouble being happy about what I have lost until I'm back down.

There's a lot of cross-checking in the beginning. Google is your friend. When in doubt, estimate up

I know the feeling. I'm trying to take off the last 10 pounds of pregnancy weight. Pounds I've also fought very hard to take off before. Then there is an extra 10 pounds that I need to take off to truly get back to my lowest from two years ago. Keep your head up and be grateful that you are doing now, once and for all. The amount of working out you are doing is amazing!

I can't believe I'm going to admit this publicly...but me too. I've put on 50 since we started building this fricking house. *sob* I've gained 20 since the New Year alone.

I'm there with ya . I'm at least 40-50 lbs overweight...it's going to be a slow process but hopefully in a year, I'll be in a different place.

I can't tell you how much it helps to know there is someone in the same place. It feels like a hopeless cause, but I know that if I really put my mind to it, I can at least drop 50. And from there it's only 30-40 more.

I dropped about 65 1.5 years ago but regained 20 this winter from being sedentary as well as poor food choices. It's been tough regaining control. Those initial pounds also came off effortlessly by walking and eliminating fast food from my diet. After I reached a certain weight though, eating "normally" without dieting netted me no weight loss. That became frustrating because I don't want to diet. I want to embrace a healthy lifestyle.

In any case, my goal is to drop the 20 I gained over the winter by my birthday in June. I think 2 months is a reasonable time frame. After that, I'll rethink where I want to be. I'm starting to accept that I will never be thin again.

Just getting started on this now. Ignoring long-term goals for now and working on losing a little bit before we move this summer. I am jturn100 at hotmail--it looks like it doesn't let you send a message with a friend request like facebook does? Anyway, if you're wondering who the heck is trying to add you as a friend, it might be me!

ETA: and if you're trying to add me and I've made it difficult or something let me know, I'm not purposely leaving anyone out or anything.
