    I think bang for buck, the nordic track is a great deal. If I could afford it, I would purchase it again in a heart beat.

        OOH I'm glad to have found this thread. My SO really wants a treadmill; she doesn't exercise now, and doesn't have time to go to a gym, so having a treadmill in the house would be very helpful. Neither of us has bought one before, so we have a lot to learn. Thanks!!

          We have an Esprit by Spirit - bought it from Costco about 5 years ago, maybe more. Goes as fast as a 5 minute mile, and twelve incline settings. It's worked fine so far. We also got an extra long deck.
          I got a wireless speaker so the tv doesn't have to blast when DW is on it.
          I'm blanking on the cost, but it wasn't cheap.
