Me too! I'd rather do pretzel for the obliques than anything else because I hate any kind of crunches or side planks.

Woah people get weird while working out. My bar place is the opposite where people don't seem to have boundaries. I carry my own Clorox wipes because of OCD and keep them in my gym bag. Went to the bathroom and when I came out, there were TWO women digging through my bag for them. Not the first time that's happened. There's something wrong when the teacher has to make an announcement to grown women that touching other people's stuff is bad.

Seriously? Dear god. I feel like all of these people should be asked to leave.

Really? Why? They make medicine for people that are that crazy.

And your studio should freaking provide wipes. I think that is gross. My gym here doesn't have wipes - they just have paper towels and these useless dispensers on the walls, so I carry wipes around too (I also wipe down airplane seats and used to wipe down the desks in the library in law school - ha! See, I'm crazy too, but I try not to infringe on others right to use and enjoyment of the barre! ).

Anyway. I, of course, was in the middle of buying a three month package and now I feel like I don't want to spend an hour of my day with rude nut-jobs.

So I may delete yesterday's post. I talked to the lady again today. I think she is crazy, but overall decently nice.

It is super funny though. She mentioned like 100 times in the last two days how her husband was a dr - perhaps I was supposed to be impressed.

Anyway - that's why I'm deleting. Just never know!

Nice crazy is better than mean crazy, but still crazy. Glad that you got to talk to her, because otherwise the next 3 months could be quite painful!

So wait, you're not impressed by being a dawkter wife?!

What about a dawkter's girlfriend? Impressed by that? I'm so glad I'm not the only one who gets freaky about germs! My SO finds it amusing that I disinfect everything, especially in hotel rooms. The remote? Door handles? You never know!

Always!!!! Light switches too. I also pull the sheets off the bed to do a bed bug check

AND while staying in a hotel in NYC, I kept our luggage in ziplock big bags...so yeah, I could probably use some meds myself! Ha!

I'm super impressed! I just found it funny.

Yes! Bed bug checks make him look at me like "oh you poor child..." We can get our meds together when you come out to California

Those bedbugs are no joke!! I am not a germophobe at all but I will say that if you're going to be cleaning stuff off: also spigots. People fuss about toilet seats...psh. Not much growing there.

                            Oh good call!

Yeah - they are no joke! DH gives me those same looks, but whatever dude! That is one expensive, stress inducing problem I would like to avoid if possible!

We have a new teacher and I feel bad about having fun in her class because I feel like I'm somehow betraying the other teacher. Oh the Catholic guilt! And BonBon, I'm totally putting spigots on my list!

I felt badly when I switched barre classes in our last city. I started going to the ones at our gym. The instructor was awesome, we became friends - started playing tennis together and stuff. She had apparently worked at some other studio before. Then apparently someone complained that her class was too hard - it was cardio barre and there was a "hard" class scheduled at the same time, so some older lady felt the barre class should be easier. So then she changed her format. It just wasn't good anymore. I felt terrible, but I stopped going and went to the old studio instead. Turns out the bitchy owner of the studio had fired her. Once I found out I was so secretive about where I was working out. I felt terrible!
