  • Best Workouts

So, I've been doing 3 "miles" or about 35 minutes (DH calls them "moon miles" because he says that its like running on the moon) on the elliptical nearly every morning along with EA Active's 30 Day Challenge (2 days on, one off). I've noticed a lot of changes in my arms, legs, and shoulders (some strength, some tone). I would recommend the EA Active program to anyone who has a Wii - it uses resistance bands and body weight. Lots of lunges, squats, curls, and presses along with some "sports" stuff.

What kind of commercially available workouts do you love? I'd love to find a great ab workout - it's the one area that EA really lacks in (because it's hard to monitor using the Wii controller).

You work out at home? For months I used the Fitness Blender HIIT workouts on youtube (free and effective!). You should also check out the Blogilates workouts, also on youtube. She has a lot of ab workouts. She's a total nutcase but the videos are really freaking hard.

I'm at home - in the comforts of the playroom The only time I can fit in a consistent workout is in the mornings - so I'm stuck at home. I'll have to check those out!

I like Insanity, T25 which is only 25 minutes and I throw in Turbojam once in awhile. I love working out at home. I don't own Insanity, I find the least annoying person filming themselves on youtube and follow them. These days I am trying to make it to Crossfit and tennis. Today I went running with the baby in the Bob.

Haha yes, she's hopped up on something I can't believe she can keep going without getting out of breath because I'm dying during some of those workouts and she's talking about some random crap like it's nothing.
