  • Favorite Dieting/fitness App?

    What's your favorite app for diet/weight loss/fitness?

I have used lose it. I liked it but I hate counting calories. It makes me crazy and neurotic.

I found the app FitFriend and started using it yesterday. So far I like it. It calculates your bmi, has you set goals, logs exercise, water and food intake. What I like about the food log is that you list what you eat and classify it as healthy, regular and unhealthy.

Which is your favorite and why?

LoseIt. For the neurotic calorie counting. I need numbers and amount left. I need it broken down into protein and carbs and fat. And I track my fiber. But I also weigh every day too. I have to be super routine otherwise I slack big time.

I like my fitness pal...you can use it on the app or computer; you can calculate your own recipes (using the ingredient bar codes); tracks weight, calories, nutrition and exercise; syncs with my fitness band, updates calorie allowance based on exercise...love it!

Michele, I am totally the same way...I have to track or off the wagon I go!

This, exactly. I just joined myfitnesspal, and am really liking that it's encouraging me to eat less, and better, and drink more water. PM me if you want to friend me; it'll help keep me honest!

Weight Watchers, though it isn't free. But it has really worked for me and I find the program much less restricting and stressful than I found calorie counting.
