I'm doing at least an hour of yoga daily - man, do I ever need it. 😏
Still avoiding grains and sugar, feeling like my body is trying to get healthier and stronger, despite a silly cold and some other issues.

Huge props for being able to cut out grains and sugar. It's been nonstop junk food here!

I'm on the wagon. The slow slow weight loss wagon.

      *sigh*.

Turns out adding employment to shipping off the kid to college in August put about 15-20 lbs on me by Christmas. Yes, yes, those bowls of pasta and brownies were comforting.

I've lost 5.5 in the last three weeks with tracking on My Fitness Pal and power yoga 4 times a week. I'm thinking of adding in spin or kickboxing for some jump starting. I've been at this yoga thing now for years, not sure it's still giving me the burn it used to even if I still need it for my sanity.

My ulcer has been acting up, which makes this all hard. When I'm in pain, I just want to cram a sponge in to my stomach and bread sounds perfect. Recently, I went all vegan because my stomach's no-no list is huge at this point. No coffee, tea, chocolate, carbonated beverages, tomatoes, spicy foods, greasy foods, sour fruits or juices, blah blah blah. With that and the no dairy rule I have due to a casein allergy, I am one sad puppy. You'd think I should be thin. Maybe in... a year at this rate of a pound or so a week .. I will be.

Rave though: started frequenting the vegan cafe in town. Pricey but delicious!!!

Weigh in for the halfway point of the 6 week weight loss challenge at OrangeTheory--down 6 lbs! Honestly, I was hoping for more, but 2 lbs/week is healthy and probably about as good as it is going to get while I'm still nursing and dealing with little people in general.

I really love OrangeTheory. I've never been able to push myself this hard before and it feels really good. And a big bonus is that the diastasis recti I have from these pregnancies (started with N, got worse with J) is SIGNIFICANTLY better and not bothering me anymore!

I'm down 10 pounds since the beginning of January. 10 more to go before mid March (Hawaii - need to fit back into my shorts). High protein, low calorie diet and heavy weight lifting. Oh and flag football. I did 1 push up and 1 sit up for each day in January (skipping days I did them in my workout). Made it to 31 on the 31st. I've since stopped the pushups (wasn't giving my shoulders enough rest between lifting days). I'm still going on the situps though. Yesterday was 34, today 35, etc.

I'm down 7 since the second week of Jan. Still working out five or more days a week. Eating is still hard. Its gotten easier but I'm still so hungry in the afternoons.

I've been so unmotivated since this extreme cold started. Considering skipping today's workout. Must get my butt moving!!! I'd totally feel differently if it was like 60 out. I think I just don't feel like getting all bundled up....

I'm struggling with motivation this week as well. Such that I'm googling motivation. It's not working. I'm trying to focus on pics of Hawaii. Maybe I need to get out my swim suits. ... it's just too cold to think about swimming.....

My schedule is too whack to work out much more than 3x a week. Short of changing jobs I'm not sure there's anything I can do about it at this point. With rehearsals ending around 10-10:30 PM and teaching all day it's pretty hard to get up and out the door early in the morning when I've been out so late. My friend and I have committed to Wednesday Spin, though, I changed my schedule in order to make it there. I also do Power Yoga on Fridays with twice a month private lessons in addition to the class. I AM able to practice a little at home and sometimes I get on the bike trainer but it's not the same as the gym / classes.

My weight has been stable since the New Year -- 5-10 lbs lighter than my weight last year -- Even that much difference has kept me feeling pretty good. Started this week ready to drop another couple pounds but then I gained a pound and started my period so I'm not even going to weigh myself for another week.

On another note my husband finally got medicated for his sleeping disorder. First time in years I'm not being woken from 3:00-5:00AM by him. Which is awesome since these days I'm not getting to bed until close to midnight. Yay!! More / better sleep has to play a factor eventually, right?
