My habits have changed a lot over the last year or so. We made some good friends a few years ago who are wonderful people but drink a ton. We picked that habit up for a while. It was expensive and I felt like garbage a good amount of the time. Now I think we both drink 1 or 2 max, about 1 or 2 times per week. Probably 1. I'm a lightweight now and I love not having hangovers or feeling otherwise"hazy". Good for the wallet and waist line, too.

Also spotty_dog even though I do want this to be a longterm change I think having an end mark has really helped. Two weeks is a manageable goal. I printed up an August calendar and put it on the refrigerator. I count calories on my phone but each day I've written "Day X" at the top, and then the number of calories I've consumed and expended in exercise. The visual has been great, plus the possible shame of my husband looking at it
