Clearly I'm no Arnold Schwarzeneggar. I tried to pump up my exercise ball. And let's just say it's full, but there's no way I'm doing anything with it today. Just getting the air into it was enough for me to break a sweat. I'll revisit the ball tomorrow.

There's no way that I'm going in for my annual in Nov., weighing what I do right now.

2 days later the ball is still inflated but wedged between a chair and a wall. I haven't touched it since I inflated it - 2 days ago... Dh says that I need to do something about the ball because he doesn't want one of us to trip over it. I think I'll just deflate the sucker and do something else for exercise.

Dh spends more time with the ball than I do...

I met my brother for lunch today and we were talking about my weight. He worked at Ann Taylor for one summer, so I trust his judgment on:

So, what dress size do you think I am?

His response: "I would say 8p-10p."

Gotta love the kid. Even though he did have to add that at Ann Taylor they don't exactly practice fair sizing...

I have officially gained 40 pounds since moving to Chicago. I moved here in 2001 and it appears that I gain over the winter and never take it off during the rest of the year.
In the past, I've always exercised in the winter with skiing/snowboarding. Here, I park myself on the couch and watch tv.

I'm not active at all except for my walk to the bus (close to 1 mile/day). I must be eating too much for me to be like this!!! I mean I WALK over 1 mile/day and am not completely sedentary!

I got my wake-up call at the doctor's yesterday. Must... do...something...about...this!!!!!
