I am attempting to train for a marathon that is in May, but I have no desire to run. I usually LOVE running- it is my stress relief, but I just can't get into it. I think it is the winter- since we moved up north, I loathe running on the snow and ice, and am bored on a treadmill. I found an actual running buddy, but because of the bad weather, we haven't run together in over a month. I then ran a 1/2 marathon 2 weekends ago thinking that would get me energized, which it did for a DAY .
I need a fellow runner who has a race goal, doesn't have to be a marathon- can be a 5K or whatever, to hold me accountable to training runs. We can discuss our progress, and give each other encouragement. Any takers???
