I hate GREY SKIES. I am starting to understand why people move to Florida or Arizona after a lifetime in the Midwest. (Since I was born and raised in Florida and moved north for college, I never understood the migration.)

I'm the same way! I've lived in AZ and NM my entire life and was spoiled with 300+ days of sunshine even when it's cold outside. I've found that here in south TX we get the warmth but not necessarily the sun which I'm not realizing I took for granted and missing.

I got a 90 minute walk in today, but the wind was super nasty and had me literally walking in place at times. At times the wind was so strong it had my eyes watering so much that tears were rolling down my cheeks and saliva blowing out of my mouth. Yeah, that's attractive! 😂

Still psyched to be seeing results. I did my weekly weigh in on Thursday and I'm down 6.8 pounds since Christmas! I know I'm bound to hit a plateau at some point but right now my body is likely just in shock that I have it moving so much. I was able to hit at least 10K steps everyday and did elliptical workouts twice. My feet are killing me. I think I've got some bad tendinitis going on.

• The kids agreed to walk to the park, then I walked laps around the basketball court while DS practiced. I still feel crummy from my cold but slightly less crummy from sitting still!

• I haven't really started exercising yet but with nutrisystem I've lost ~8 pounds. I know it's real weight loss because my pants are fitting me more loosely. I've adjusted to the lower calories and I'm not quite as crabby.

I got my first official box of foods with my selections so now I have more control over what I'm eating. Yay!

Yay, I'm so glad you're feeling better! It totally makes sense to focus on the eating habits first. You rock!

• So, does anyone new want to join in on the Fitbit weekly challenge? I'll give up my spot if rufflesanddots wants to give it a go, and/or I could start a second challenge group...any ideas?

• Favorite workout clothes brands? I need some updates. I really like moving comfort bras. I'm tired of see through capris.
VS has a promo now but I got a sports bra a couple months ago and it's awful (poor quality and ill fitting). So now I don't trust their other stuff.

• Zella live-in leggings from Nordstrom! Usually $50, but I buy them during sales for $30ish. I have some C9 tops from target that are fine, and I have friends that love Gap Fit and Old Navy stuff.

• I really love Target's C9 bootleg yoga pants. I'm only 5'3 so it's crucial for me to find yoga pants that come in petite. They also come in regular and tall. My adidas clima cool bra tanks are my other favorite.

Especially since I'm on vacation I'd be totally fine bowing out. I was thinking we should just invite everyone each week and the first to respond get in..
